Superpeptase 120,000 PC is a combination of two peptidases carefully selected to achieve a similar proteolytic mechanism as serratiopeptidase.
MANUFACTURING OF SUPERPEPTASE
Superpeptase 120,000 PC differs from serratiopeptidase in terms of production method. The peptidases in Superpeptase are produced through fermentation of Aspergillus melleus and Aspergillus oryzae, whereas serratiopeptidase (serrapeptase) is produced through fermentation of Serratia marcescens E15.
Both belong to the peptidase (protease) category and are thus proteolytic enzymes.
German physician Dr. Hans Nieper discovered the remarkable healing ability of an enzyme produced by the intestines of silkworms, which is serratiopeptidase.
The silkworm uses this enzyme when emerging from its cocoon. This process must happen quickly to prevent predatory birds from capturing the vulnerable moth as it emerges from the cocoon. This enzyme is known as serratiopeptidase, derived from the name of the bacteria that produce it. In Asia and parts of Europe, this enzyme has been used for over 25 years!
What is Serrapeptase?
Serratia Peptidase (official name) is a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down dead and inflamed fibrin tissue. It is produced by the bacterium Serratia E15, which resides in the intestines of silkworm larvae.
Today, serrapeptase is produced through fermentation using the Serratia bacterium. It is not naturally present in the regular diet, but several European and US doctors who prescribe serrapeptase recommend a Mediterranean diet rich in fish and colorful vegetables for their patients.
How does it work?
Serrapeptase breaks down diseased and dead tissues through enzymatic processes, while leaving healthy and living tissues untouched. It is a fibrin-specific process that breaks down only certain types of tissue proteins, making it effective against cysts, harmful substances accumulating on arterial walls, and vascular blockages.
Serrapeptase also has a strong anti-inflammatory effect without harmful side effects. Unlike conventional anti-inflammatory drugs and painkillers that thin the blood, serrapeptase’s effect is not based on inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Instead, it stops inflammation by destroying fibrin, a byproduct of inflammatory processes. By breaking down fibrin, a major culprit in vascular blockages, serrapeptase helps reduce the risk of thrombosis and prevent associated vascular problems and the risk of stroke, while also stimulating natural circulation in healthy tissues. Serrapeptase inhibits the formation and spread of inflammation without affecting the body’s prostaglandin hormones or damaging the important hormonal processes necessary for the formation of the stomach and intestinal mucosa. Therefore, serrapeptase is considered one of the best anti-inflammatory pain relievers, especially when conventional painkillers cannot be used continuously. In addition to relieving pain and inflammation, serrapeptase also improves joint mobility.
